Leading & mentoring a team of 5 designers, I drove agile best practices as well as evangelized and grow the UX Design practice within Unqork. Along with team management, I was also hands-on with creating UX research, user flows, wireframes, design systems, and visual design for many clients such as Nuveen, Coinbase, Estee Lauder, Health & Human Services, Nestle, State Street as well as internal projects for DEI and platform templates.

Brought in to be a fixture of their growing experience design practice and CX network. Focusing on a mix of clients like BNY Mellon, Wells Fargo, IBM, Con Edison, Michelin & Crossborder Solutions as well as a mix of projects from site design, and product design to mixed reality including the award-winning BNY Mellon Wealth Accelerator. Engaging and leading our clients through the entire UX process, and discovery phases along with educating them along the way. Had the pleasure to host stakeholder interviews, workshops, and design sprint kickoffs.

I worked to build a design system, component library and style guides for the Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks Off 5th & Hudson Bay. Auditing and iterating through their current experience I build a shared component library for the designers and set the groundwork for the full design system to be created with tech teams

I joined the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), the judging body of The Webby Awards and The Lovie Awards to judge the entries for the 2020 Webbys.

As the head of the Product Design Practice at InRhythm I meet with our Fintech clients, assess their needs and give the solutions to increase productivity, bring better brand standards as well as supply them with UX staff they need to succeed. 

I also hold lunch and learns on sites where I discuss best UX practices, design thinking in an agile environment along with the relationship between product, design and development. I mentor our team of designers and set them up for a path or learning and growth.

As part of my role at InRhythm, I worked as a consultant at American Express growing and mentoring their consumer as well as commercial acquisition UX team along with removing silos between product, marketing & engineering to bring the best User Experiences while driving customer conversion.

•  Lead the redefined commercial user journey from the beginning, creating new user flows, site maps, page templates along with building a reusable component library and working with all teams to maintain new business initiatives.
•  Established best practices and processes for design intake, workflow as well as deployment.
•  Worked with engineering teams to create a smart hand-off using tools like Invision and Zepplin to maintain velocity during their sprints.
•  Introduced and lead design sprints for the agile marketing teams. Being the main moderator for all knowledge shares as well as ideation sessions and content strategy.

Created visual design along with user experience for web, mobile, apps, web banners along with social tiles. Worked in an agile environment, occasionally leading scrum calls. 
	•	Interacted with clients to assess their needs and create custom web experiences.
	•	Full cycle design from UX to visual design while communicating with overseas developers.
	•	Created dynamic infographs, dashboards with custom modules.

Conceived, designed, and led team to build NOW Creative —a content rich agency with a wide variety of clients.  From advertising, app design & development, to product design & manufacturing my role was to secure clients, build creative and inspire the team to be cutting edge everyday. 

Along with creative I raised start-up capital, Developed and defined project scope, goals and deliverables for launch, & led development team.

of work from freelance workers to in house employees in the first six months of employment.
• Rebranded the organization with the creation of new websites, ecommerce, & advertising.
• Traveled overseas to monitor every detail of production & quality control of projects.

Directed, designed, and strategized all product advertising, including all catalog and web campaigns, for an in-house department with an agency engine.
• Created and continuously maintained all websites to refresh the corporate identity of the brand.
• Managed the flow of artwork in house and coordinated with outside agencies.
• Developed the graphics for advertising materials including bicycle decals, catalogs, web
ads, clothing, and tradeshows.
• Managed the budget for freelance & agency work as well as printing and hardware.
• Directed photo shoots for the product and action footage.

Built and led this in house art department. Hired, trained, coached and supported a staff of 13 team members. Responsible for delivering stimulating ideas that work across all media’s
to promote the sporting good products and the brand of the organization.
• Created artwork for product and package designs, magazine advertisements, the web,
and the National Super Show tradeshow.
• Developed print concepts for brochures, direct mailings, and email blasts.
• Identified talent and mentored graphic designers for career growth into future Directors.

Interfaced with clients to assess their needs.  Produced designs for print including, postcards, direct mailings, books, and annual reports.  Designed and developed websites.

Created full poster employee awareness ads and developed store style guides and floor plans. Learned the foundational elements of workflow scheduling, design concepts, and artwork trends by working alongside the Art Director.
